STEP 01

Upload the drawings

Drop in structural PDFs. Each sheet is rendered at 300+ DPI — the resolution the small text on real drawings actually needs — and, where a sheet is large, tiled into overlapping quadrants so nothing gets lost to downscaling.

STEP 02

Vision extracts every element

A vision model reads each sheet and returns every column, beam, slab and footing — id, type, dimensions, grade, main bars and links — with a confidence on each. Anything inferred rather than explicitly dimensioned is marked low-confidence, with a source note.

STEP 03

Unclear reads become questions

Every low or medium-confidence field turns into one specific, one-line question — "Sheet 3, C4: how many 16 mm main bars?" — consolidated by sheet and element. The AI never guesses and quietly proceeds; it asks, or excludes the element as pending.

STEP 04

Confirm against the sheet

The review screen puts the extracted table beside the source drawing, low-confidence rows highlighted amber. You confirm, correct or exclude each element. Answers that look physically implausible trigger a follow-up rather than being accepted silently.

STEP 05

Deterministic takeoff, priced and exported

Confirmed elements only flow into the engine: concrete by shape, rebar at 0.00785·d² with lap length per your code, formwork per face. Add masonry and roof by hand, apply rates, and export a grouped, subtotalled BOQ to Excel — pending items listed but never priced.

Why the number holds

Three non-negotiables.

Wrong quantities become wrong material orders on real sites. One mistake ends trust — so the workflow is built to make that mistake structurally impossible.

RULE 01

No unconfirmed math

Extracted values are always "pending" until a human confirms them. The calculation engine never runs on unconfirmed data.

A question, not a guess
